Organizational Development Consultant
Location:

Summary:
The Organizational Development Consultant plans, develops, implements, and administers development and training programs for our clients and acts as an advisor to the organization’s leadership facilitating initiatives across the organization.

Our ideal candidate should also have a demonstrated passion for improving individual/organizational performance and experience in leading initiatives related to operationalizing strategy, developing leaders, acquiring new talent, change management and driving team performance.
Responsibilities:
Essential functions of the job might include some or all of the following depending on client engagement:
- Provide organizational development expertise and capabilities in the areas of coaching, employee engagement, team effectiveness, and culture building.
- Directs the needs assessment for training and staff development to enhance the effectiveness of employee performance in achieving the goals and objectives of the company.
- Support succession management efforts, as needed, with our senior leaders to provide insight and identify development opportunities.
- Develop, manage and facilitate all OD related trainings, surveys and assessments.
- Consults with management on performance, organizational and leadership matters. Conducts needs assessments to determine measures required to enhance employee job performance and overall company performance.
- Work closely with managers to gain a comprehensive understanding of the company’s hiring needs for each position and meet competitive hiring goals and expectations.
- Develops new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven effective management skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods.
- Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple/changing priorities.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development or related.
- 5+ years of organizational development experience.
- Experience designing and implementing effective training and development programs.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office, database management, and internet search
- Familiarity with job boards, and HR software, databases, and management systems
- CPLP credential, preferred.
- SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential, preferred.
